About me
I’ve worked mostly for artistic and cultural organisations with a strong emphasis on social impact. Joining at the start of something new, I’ve helped to build audiences and a strong brand that draws people to it.
I’ve worked at some places that I’m really proud of, like The House of St Barnabas, an award-winning not-for-profit members’ club and homelessness charity. I started out building their membership and ended up running their cultural events and communications, and I loved every second of it.
More recently, I’ve worked as a communications consultant for RSL, the Royal Society of Literature. The RSL team are doing amazing things to make the literary landscape more inclusive and diverse. As they went through a rebrand I supported them to understand their audiences, their potential, and how to reach it.
At LIFT, London International Festival of Theatre, I was able to share the work of incredible artists from the UK and around the world, invite the whole of London to our festival, build a strong approach to audience development and sell-out challenging, difficult-to-describe performances. It was an incredible ride!
How I choose projects
I love using creative thinking to bring brands to life in a meaningful way. I am creative and curious, travel, art and food obsessed, a keen maker, an avid reader, and deeply interested in sustainability, the arts, nature and social impact. A project that comes with any of these ingredients has a strong pull for me.
What I bring with me
I’m a Londoner based in Barcelona, which gives me access to an inspiring fusion of cultures, languages and ways of being. I am naturally enthusiastic and optimistic. I love learning new things, working collaboratively, and consuming all kinds of culture. I care about making sure that art actually is for everyone. I strive to be an anti-racist ally and consider sustainability in everything I do.
